Synopsis

The signal did not call Billy Thinx as a soldier. It recognized him as something far more dangerous, a witness who could not be controlled.

When a perfect spiral appears outside Billy's Colorado cabin, the dormant Lyran structure within his body answers. The same symbol appears on his ERID datapad, carrying a Codex pulse from beneath Mongolia.

Billy, Sydney, Zara, Marcus, and Kenji follow the signal into the Sky Teeth, where buried chambers preserve the memories of civilizations erased from history. Waiting there are the Failed Ones, human hosts shattered by early attempts to control the Codex, and Vorn, a ruthless Concord architect who believes memory must be managed and the future made predictable.

But the Codex is neither a weapon nor a book. It is a living record that reflects what a person truly carries.

As ancient Custodians awaken and reality begins to fold around forgotten choices, Billy must decide whether civilization should be protected through perfect order or allowed to survive through freedom, uncertainty, and the right to choose its own future.

Some enemies want to conquer the world. The Architects intend to preserve it so completely that no one will ever be free again.
