Worlds and map of the Billy Thinx Universe — floating citadel, gate of light, twin planets, the ridge where the journey stands

Worlds & Map

Auralis, the Crystal Expanse

Auralis, the Crystal Expanse

Spires of glass. A moon that watches. A city that remembers.

Auralis is the jewel of the known worlds and the first place Billy learns that beauty is not the same as safety. Its towers drink starlight. Its balconies look toward a dawn that may not belong to the people standing on them.

Thinx Tower, Chicago

Thinx Tower, Chicago

Memory defense. Archival hub. A dark spire that does not sleep.

From the private library at the crown of Thinx Tower, Billy watches rain move across Lake Michigan and does not trust peace. The floors below are Zara's kingdom — quantum feeds, ratline overlays, sarcasm taught to the tower AI. Relics of the Draco war sit under glass. The object that outweighs them is a worn leather journal.

Site Nine, Antarctica

Site Nine, Antarctica

The ice was never empty. It was a vault.

Heat signatures pulse beneath the white continent in geometric intervals, too exact to be natural. Human systems wrapped around something older. Die Glocke. Vril. A threshold left open on purpose. Site Nine cannot be silenced. It can only be harmonized — or documented so thoroughly that myth has nowhere left to hide.

Valles Marineris, Mars

Valles Marineris, Mars

No throne. No commander. Only continuity.

The Martian archive is not a temple and not a base. It is an assertion fused into the geology of the canyon. Memory vaults, mirrored and redundant, designed to survive amputation. Billy's order here is the hardest one he gives: do not hit it. Copy it. Deny it secrecy. Destruction would only erase evidence. Absence would invite myth.

The Colorado Ridge

The Colorado Ridge

A cabin. A fire ring. A spiral impressed into the clearing.

The Colorado Ridge is a simple place — a cabin, a fire ring, and a spiral impressed into the clearing below. Billy woke there with pressure in his chest and the same spiral burned faintly behind his closed eyes. Down the slope, the grass had been stripped away in a perfect circle, yet the earth surrounding it was undisturbed — no tracks, no scatter, no debris. The shape had not been carved into the ground so much as impressed upon it, the way a seal presses into wax. Fire still works here. The Codex found him anyway.

Mongolia Quadrant

Mongolia Quadrant

A tunnel that was not cut. A law that remembers.

The mining drone failed without warning. Beneath layers of stone: spiraled ridges intersecting at angles no survey algorithm would call erosion. Thirty meters down the passage felt shaped rather than cut. The spiral stretched floor to ceiling, older than the excavation, older than the assumptions that had brought them here. This was not descent. It was recognition, delayed until he was ready to notice it.

The Neighbor Galaxy

The Neighbor Galaxy

A warning in the sky. A spear of dark cutting a living spiral.

Not all journeys begin with a choice. Some begin with a warning. And some lead beyond the stars. From a cabin ridge Billy, Luriel, and Sydney watch the neighbor sky open — a galaxy turning, and something older than a comet cutting through it. Book Four starts here.

The Edge Star

The Edge Star

The last honest light on the charts. A hall that witnesses.

Not a throne. A gathering. A sphere of living light and a ring of those who still remember. The Edge Star is where the Codex is carried, where the Citadel tries to harvest what cannot be taken by force, and where five ships are lost so the rest of the song can continue. After the resonance war the axis of the cosmos shifts. The next chapter will not be fought in fire alone.

The Unremarkable Dark

The Unremarkable Dark

Three million light-years from the nearest charted lane. Nothing has ever been out there. That might be exactly the point.

A stretch of dark so unremarkable no expedition in recorded history bothered to survey it. In Book Seven a Time Master recites a set of coordinates with the over-careful calm of someone who has rehearsed staying calm. Trace signature consistent with the Source Projection. The first lead that did not vanish when they looked at it directly. Billy is, at that moment, the only being within reach who has ever proven capable of closing a case no one else could. He is not the only one moving toward it.
