Book Four · Truth

Billy Thinx and the Architects of Illusion

Architects of Illusion cover

Truth · Would we choose reality over comfort?

Fractures appear in the sky. Billy Thinx and Sydney walk a neighbor galaxy of perfect worlds — Contenia, the Veilwrights, a construct named Zed — and refuse both the cage and the erasure.

Overview

The Veilwrights do not conquer. They revise. The Architects design the rooms worlds live inside and charge admission in belief. Contenia is a managed peace so complete its people do not remember there was ever a door.

Zed is a construct who chooses to dismantle what he was made to maintain. Gail is a name Billy will not trade for a copy. At the Source he is offered extinction of the dream, or another cage. He refuses both. Lucidity without dissolution.
