Billy Thinx and the First Shadow

One page. Beginning, middle, and the door it opens.

Logline

A rugged Colorado hiker falls through the Rockies into a buried war, awakens a dormant Codex in his blood, and learns that the chairs of Earth have other faces — Draco Governors who never left.

Synopsis

Billy Thinx’s life is the ridge and a red heeler named Sydney. He is not looking for a war. A storm, a bear, and a fall drop him into a hall that should not exist — architecture grown, not built. Drones. A hunter. A frequency the stone already knows.

History was not lost. It was administered. The Draco Governors have sat behind human faces since the first exile. Sydney felt the spiral before Billy had a name for it. When the hunter’s shot finds him, time does not move forward. A Blue Avian takes the bolt meant for him. Billy dies. Then the world comes back.

He is received, not captured. Luriel and the Pleiadians take him from the cave to a ship of living light. Marks surface under the skin — not a weapon. Remembrance. Lyran blood, human doubt. He is a thread, not a chosen one. The alliance will not crown him. They will see whether a man who has seen the chairs will name them.

The Council of the Divide is old fractures in a round room. Unity is a decision, not a prophecy. In the war room, maps become cost: Denver, desert vaults, Kentucky, the oceans, strongholds under nations. Once the plans leave that room, history changes.

Billy names the governors. The war for freedom begins. The puppets still sit at the table. Something buried is awake. Book One ends with the door open — and with the knowledge that naming them was not the same as removing them.

The novel stands alone. It also opens the saga. Peace, when it is declared, will not be trusted.

They never left the thrones. They only changed the faces.
